(Cruz in his blessing outfit)
We had a very full house this weekend. Cruz was blessed on Sunday and Brendan's parents came from Missouri on thursday afternoon and three of his siblings drove up from BYU very early saturday morning (Brendan's brother and sisters didn't get here till 4:30am on Saturday morning (let me say they are slow drivers)). My Parents came into town on Friday and two of my brothers were here on sunday. WOW we had a lot of people visit in just one weekend.
It was a ton of fun to have the fam here. Brendan's dad and siblings hadn't met Cruz yet, so they were especially excited to be here.
Brendan and I played tour guide all weekend.
On Friday night we took Brendan's parents and mine to experience The Crab Pot. If you have never experienced eating at the Crab Pot it is an experience all in it's self. Your food comes in a big bowl that is dumped in the middle of the table it is fun to dig into your food and get your fingers dirty. The best part of the whole meal is that I didn't spill anything on me or Cruz (he was sitting in my lap the entire time and no spills YEAH GO ME!!!!) After dinner we went over to Alki Beach in West Seattle. It is probably the very best and most scenic view of the city we also were quite lucky because the clouds were broken up and we had a great view.
Saturday we all went to the Museum of Flight. It was fun walking around looking at all of the old planes. We even got to go on Air Force One!! (Air Force One was so disappointing it was nothing like what we had expected and kind of smelled like throw up.....).
Afterwards we of course had to go to Ivar's for lunch. A Seattle trip is not complete without going to the pier and feeding the seagulls your left over food.

Brendan did such a good job on Cruz's blessing. It was short sweet and to the point. It was so wonderful to have him be able to do it. In the circle there was Brendan, my dad, Brendan's dad, Brendan's brother Eric, my two brothers Jeff and Steven, our friend Scotty, and the bishopric. It was a little funny having a two month old being blessed, but that is the only time Brendan's dad was able to make it out here. It was well worth the wait to be able to have everyone make it.
Afterwards all of us came back to our house and enjoyed a delicious dinner. It was a very full house. There were 17 people in our little in our little townhouse, but surprisingly it didn't feel like it. I want to thank everyone for going out of their way to be able to make it to spent time with us.
Now it is Tuesday and our lives are semi back to normal, Cruz has his 2 month update tomorrow and we are really excited to see how much he has grown.
Dont forget we love to read all of your comments so please leave us some
