Just Lounging Around

Cruz discovered his old infant bath tub
and has decided it his new recliner.
I have found him reading in it,
snuggling with his lamb,
and driving his car,
next he'll be watching football games
and telling me, "Mom, get me another cold one!"

Tacoma Narrows Half Marathon

I just finished my first half marathon this morning.
Go me!!! Wow, was it a killer.
I'm not exactly sure what my time is yet,
I was just so happy to make it to the finish line
that I didn't even pay attention to my time.
But, I think it was about 2 hours 10ish minutes.
Right now I really don't know if I will ever run one again.
But, I sure feel accomplished.
I can add this to the list of events
to brag about.
I ran with three of my friends.
It was so fun training with them.
